Our EVOO
Monks Lane Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil is florally, fragrant, peppery and pure. We are a very small farm, less than 1000 olive trees over 30 acres. Our oil is so special, it's cold pressed only once, while the olives are still green and unripe, and within an hour of picking. Although we get less oil this way, the EVOO we do produce is of the highest quality, with its high concentration of polyphenols linking this superfood to a long list of remarkable health benefits. Every single bottle only contains our own olive oil, making it single origin. We really hope you enjoy the beautiful taste as much as we enjoy lovingly producing it.

Our Farm
Here on Monks Lane Farm we use sustainable farming practices to ensure we meet our farming needs without harming the soil, biodiversity and the health of future generations. We are a chemical and pesticide free farm. Surrounding grass and weed control is managed with our flock of Wiltipoll sheep, and pruning is by hand. Our farm consists of 2 types of olive trees, Manzanillo, a dual purpose, table and oil fruit, and Correggiola, for oil.

Our Family
Monks Lane Farm has been our home since 2015. From the moment we arrived here, whilst looking for our family home, we knew there was no other place for us, it would be the perfect spot to raise our children, and it has been. A lot of love, time, energy and effort goes into looking after our home. Along with our olive trees, we have surrounded ourselves with many animals too; cows, sheep, geese, chickens, ducks, bees, guinea fowl, cats and our little sausage dog, Lord Daschinton, all needing love and attention. We have taught our 3 children that they all have a responsibility to each and every living thing on our farm, that every creature, be it flora or fauna, relies on our care, and in return, the land nourishes us. They help with taking care of the groves, nurturing the chickens, we try to instill a deep appreciation through understanding that the labour and love involved with all our daily farm chores gives us some of the food we eat, paddock to plate, whether it be from the garden, fresh eggs, our own beef, honey, and off coarse, our olive oil.
